A Coach for Leaders Ready to Get Unstuck

Josh works with pastors, founders, and Kingdom-minded leaders who feel the weight of vision but struggle to carry it with clarity. Many of his clients describe feeling scattered, tired, or stuck—unsure how to move forward without burning out or losing heart.

Josh helps leaders slow down long enough to see what’s really happening. He’s not afraid to ask hard questions or challenge easy answers, but his approach is grounded in empathy, honesty, and hope. His clients often say his coaching gives them both permission and a plan—to lead from a place of wholeness rather than hustle.

He doesn’t offer quick fixes or formulas. Instead, Josh walks leaders through a process of rediscovering purpose, realigning strategy, and leading with integrity that lasts.

Experience That Shapes Impact

With over 20 years of leadership experience in church, nonprofit, and business settings, Josh helps leaders move from confusion to clarity and from maintenance to mission.

He’s the Founder and Lead Coach of Heart the Mission, a coaching practice that equips pastors and Christian leaders to build from the heart. Josh also serves as President of SOFT, a national nonprofit supporting families affected by Trisomy 13 and 18—a mission shaped by his own family’s story of love, loss, and faith.

A lifelong learner and outdoorsman, Josh finds clarity on quiet trails and joy in time with his wife, Renae, and their children in South Carolina. The memory of his son Dawson continues to inspire his mission to help others live fully, lead bravely, and love deeply.

Beyond Coaching

Outside of coaching and ministry, Josh finds joy in the outdoors and adventure. He’s an elk hunter, storyteller, and lifelong learner who believes the best clarity often comes on quiet trails or mountain ridges.

He’s passionate about family and faith—living in South Carolina with his wife, Renae, and their children, DJ, Carson, and Huntley Grace. The memory of his son Dawson, who lived courageously with Trisomy 18, continues to shape Josh’s heart and mission: to help others live fully, lead bravely, and love deeply.
